How to determine the value of a Hermes scarf
By Bright Ibeawuchi on Jan 13, 2008 | In Hermes | 4 feedbacks »
The market value of a vintage hermes scarf depends a great deal on the year of production and condition of the scarf.
The guidelines stated below are only my personel opinion, based on the scarves I have bought and sold, casual observations of ebay Hermes auctions and a little common sense.
Follow up:
The price of any given Hermes scarf can fluctuate wildly. This is only a general guideline to help determine the value of your scarf. The bottom line is that any Hermes scarf is only worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay.
Also keep in mind that many designs have been re-issued. These are generally not as valuable as the original.
